SWF's headquarters, located just outside of Fresno in the heart of the "world's fruit basket"—California's San Joaquin Valley. Reedley, CA—the home of SWF—is a short 20 miles from Yosemite Fresno International Airport and is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
The growth of Salwasser led to the construction of "Building No. 2" in 1994, a 70,000 square foot world class facility. In May, 2000, SWF Companies acquired Salwasser Manufacturing and in December 2000 consolidated its Sanger and Reedley operations into the Salwasser complex. In January 2007, SWF was acquired by Thiele Technologies through Barry Wehmiller. Today, our California operation provides complete design, fabrication, assembly and support operations for our leading product lines—tray/bliss forming/sealing, integrated case packing, Robotics, and cartoning. "Building No. 1" is dedicated to fabrication and aftermarket operations and also houses our general support staff. "Building No. 2" is home to our assembly, engineering and stores operations. The fine product lines represented in this facility have an installed base of over 15,000 machines, a testimony to the hard work, perserverance and dedication of our associates throughout our history. Over 180 associates tirelessly serve our customers in Reedley. We are proud of our heritage, and look forward to the future with great anticipation.
