DP 160 Shelf Loader
The DP 160 is a case/tray packer that uses a unique system of shelves
which collapse to a preset spacing required for vertical packing of medium
to large flexible bags into cases and trays. Easily integrated with various
SWF case/tray erectors and sealers, the DP 160 is used in many industries
including frozen foods, pet foods, cat litter, stuffing mix, flour, sugar,
french fries, snacks, etc.

System
Operation
Flexible bags are fed to the Shelf Loader's infeed conveyor where they
are fed into a shaker that evenly distributes and levels the contents
prior to the staging conveyor. The staging conveyor automatically and
vertically pivots to place one to four bags on each stationery shelf.
When the predetermined count has been reached, a cross pusher transfers
the accumulated stack to collapsible loading shelves. When the shelves
are full, they collapse to preset spacing that allows use of the smallest
possible case size without squeezing the product. Then a loading pusher
moves the stack into the vertically held case or tray. After loading,
the case is pivoted and lowered into the upright position for closing
and sealing.
