Case/Tray Packers
SWF's TL models
are fully automatic pick-and-place case/tray packers. Designed for soft
and flexible products, as well as rigid and irregular shaped products
and packages, the TL models can pack various RSC, HSC and display-style
cases and trays. Furthermore, these systems can be designed with a simple,
yet reliable mechanical pick and place system or a more advanced robotic
system for more complex applications. Utilizing gentle product handling,
the TL models will pack a variety of products including composite cans,
pouches, paper products, frozen vegetables, cookies, baked goods and other
prepared and/or frozen foods.

System
Operation
Product is fed onto the pick and place case/tray packers infeed conveyor
while preformed cases/trays feed on a second lower/parallel conveyor.
Once the proper amount of product is accumulated under the pick head,
it is lifted/picked and placed into a case or tray. When the case or
tray is filled with the correct amount of product it is discharged so
that the cycle can start again.
