In 1998, SWF acquired Tri-Sterling, Inc. thereby adding a very successful line of wraparound case packers, casing systems and tray/shrink wrap systems to its offerings. McDowell, Padlocker and Tri-Sterling operations were then consolidated in Altamonte Springs, Florida. | |
| In April 2000, SWF acquired Yakima Wire Works, Inc., a leading manufacturer of automatic bagging equipment for sensitive fruit and other non-produce applications. Yakima was consolidated with SWF Dyna-Pak operations in Kennewick, Washington. | ||

June 2000, SWF announced the acquisition of Salwasser Manufacturing
Co., Inc., a leading manufacturer of integrated case packaging equipment
for more than fifty years. Salwasser is also a packaging machinery manufacturer
that specializes in automation of case packing operations in the paper,
dry goods and toiletries markets. |

Illinois. Tisma is a leading provider of cartoning machinery, with special
emphasis on high speed, complex applications for the food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals markets. Tismas highly engineered cartoning solutions allow SWF to expand its capability to provide its customers with a single source for full integrated packaging solutions. |
